When we travel, I often eat too much and get too little sleep. Those two things, combined with a tendency toward allergies, mean waking up with puffy eyes and under-eye bags–which is a drag when you’re on vacation and want to look extra good!
That’s why I’m so happy I found these masks when I did, because they’re perfect for traveling. Each box comes with 10 packets containing 2 masks. I simply popped a few packets in my cosmetic bag before we left for Charleston.
Then, 2 or 3 times during our vacation week (on the days I’d eaten really badly or went to bed really late), I applied one hydrogel eye mask under each eye after washing my face. In the morning, I removed each eye mask and massaged the extra serum into my skin.
Not only did I wake up each day with brighter eyes and zero puffiness, my dark circles seemed less pronounced. And with further use, I expect the positive results to continue. Since each hydrogel eye mask is infused with anti-oxidants, I hope to see a reduction in the fine lines around my eyes as well.
The ingredients in each eye mask are pretty impressive:
- prickly pear seed oil to brighten under eye circles and promote elasticity with Vitamin K
- grape seed oil to firm and reduce the appearance of fine lines and aging
- cucumber fruit extract to counteract the signs of environmental damage
You can find a full list of ingredients below.
By the way, before I tried these eye masks I wondered whether they’d bother me while I was sleeping. Honestly, at first it did feel a little weird to have something stuck under my eyes. But it didn’t take long to get used to them, and once I fell asleep they didn’t interfere with my sleep at all.
Whether you’re planning a trip, looking for a great firming and anti-aging treatment, or wanting to pamper your tired, overworked eyes, I hope you’ll check out the hydrogel eye mask for yourself.
