No doubt about it, the secret to a healthy, happy life is restful sleep. When I don’t get my sleep, not only do I suffer, but Dave, Baxter, and anyone else who crosses my path feel the effects, too.
Which is probably why Dave waited several weeks before telling me he couldn’t stand the smell of the lavender oil I was dousing my feet with every night before bed. Oops.
Even though the lavender was a Godsend for helping me fall and stay asleep, I had to find a new solution (or start sleeping in the guestroom).
Enter this lovely-smelling blend of 3 essential oils. Not only has it become my super-hero trio for blissful sleep, it’s great any time I want to induce feelings of Zen-like calm.
I find myself using this spray more often than any other–it’s great for days when I have a lot on my schedule or when I’m feeling a bit frazzled and overwhelmed. A couple of spritzes on my arms and chest and I can handle just about anything.
And since it doesn’t contain any lavender, I’m happy to say my marriage is still intact.
Blissful Sleep Essential Oils Spray
Simply add 10 drops each: cedarwood, juniper berry, and Serenity essential oils to a small (2 oz.) glass spray bottle filled almost to the top with distilled water. Shake well and spray on feet, back of neck, and/or chest.
Try spritzing some on your pillow at bedtime. Heavenly!
